He hates how the Saints have become celebrities and hopes that the Saints will one day return to their roots. After his wife Aisha was killed in the previous game, his is more pent up than ever and always itching for a fight. Johnny Gat-Johnny is the right hand man of the Boss and has worked alongside him since the beginning of the saints row series. He is the leader and in the previous game, he reformed the saints and took control of another town called stilwater. As the story is narrated as if it were a game, he is the player and protagonist of the story. The Boss-The Boss is the leader of the 3rd Street Saints. However, after it goes horribly wrong, the Saints eventually realise that they should return to gangbanging instead of advertising energy drinks and hairspray. After a long time of milking in all of the money as well as building up their reputation, the Saints have decided to rob one of the biggest banks of Stilwater and take all of the money for themselves. Allied with their former enemy corporation Ultor, which is now led by Saints friend Eric Gryphon, the Saints have created the Saints-Ultor Media Group, which has turned the Saints into celebrities. Shooting them like wild dogs without them trying to defend themselves is what I believe annoys people more than anything. With The Brotherhood, The Ronin and The Sons of Samedi destroyed, former Ultor CEO Dane Vogel dead along with Julius Little as well as Dexter Jackson chased out of town, the Saints took over Stilwater for themselves.
Regarding the way Terry and Clay die in GTA V I know they're not huge characters, but they had Johnny's back in TLAD through thick and thin. I guess we just understand in terms of the story it's just how it is. I think you'll find there's a similar reason why GTA IV fans don't complain that it was Johnny who kidnapped Roman. It fits in with Niko's hired gun persona and the context at hand. When I first played GTA IV he was just another target on Niko's list.Įven the few times I've finished TLAD and I play through No Way On The Subway I don't see anything wrong with it or any reason why people would complain. This was long before TLAD was its own game and to most people Jim didn't mean much to them at the time. Niko was ordered to kill him and that's what he done. Like I said to you in another thread Stoney the reason no one seems to make a big fuss about Jim's death is it's really comparing apples to oranges. Even though her character perfectly shows how a girl can set off a chain of catastrophical events.Ĭlay and Terry deserved better.a death yes.but how they fled the scene and Trevor simply shoots them in the back without them acting a bit.not really nice.
Packie.Rocco, The tar surely kind of pisses on some characters.Īshley, yeah. I understand why people would be indifferent to her fate, but dying at an orgy reported by Weazel as a radio joke? Why not just push Angus down the f*cking stairs and have Grossman suck a cock on Electric Tit? Why are they killing off all of the TLAD like this? I know Clay and Terry also deserved to have a better ending but they died early on. She was a big part of TLAD and was loveable because she was just a small, drug addled mess who you can tell still effects Johnny's mindset. Was the last one cradling Johnny's body after Trevor's psychopathic (not psychological I'm afraid) rage was over.
